Physocarpus monogynus (Mountain Ninebark)

Physocarpus monogynus, commonly known as Mountain Ninebark, is a deciduous shrub that belongs to the Rosaceae family. This shrub typically grows to a height of 3-10 feet. It is characterized by its attractive peeling bark and foliage. The leaves are deeply lobed and green, turning shades of red and purple in the fall.
