Picea lutzii (Lutz Spruce)
Picea lutzii, also known as Lutz Spruce, is a hybrid between Picea glauca (White Spruce) and Picea sitchensis (Sitka Spruce). It is a large evergreen conifer with a conical shape and densely-packed, needle-like leaves. The needles are bluish-green in color and provide a striking contrast to the orange-brown bark of the tree. Lutz Spruce is grown primarily for its ornamental value and is often used as a focal point in large landscapes.
