Pistacia atlantica (Mount Atlas Pistache)

Pistacia atlantica, commonly known as Mount Atlas Pistache, is a deciduous tree native to the Atlas Mountains in North Africa. It has a dense and spreading growth habit with dark green pinnate leaves that turn golden-yellow in the fall. The tree produces clusters of small greenish flowers in the spring, followed by small red fruits that are edible for birds.
