Platanus racemosa 'Roberts' (California Sycamore)

Platanus racemosa 'Roberts', commonly known as California Sycamore, is a large deciduous tree native to California. It has a distinctive mottled bark in shades of gray, tan, and white, and large, glossy, palmate leaves. In spring, it produces small, round clusters of flowers that develop into dry seed balls. With a mature height of around 80 feet and a spread of about 50 feet, it provides ample shade and makes an attractive addition to parks and large landscapes.
