Polemonium occidentale (Jacob's Ladder)

Polemonium occidentale, commonly known as Jacob's Ladder, is a wildflower that belongs to the Polemoniaceae family. It is a herbaceous perennial plant that typically grows up to 18 inches in height. Jacob's Ladder features delicate pinnate leaves with small leaflets arranged like the rungs of a ladder, hence the common name. It produces clusters of small, bell-shaped blue or purple flowers in late spring to early summer.
