Polemonium pulcherrimum, more commonly known as Jacob's Ladder, is a wildflower native to North America. It features delicate clusters of pale blue, bell-shaped flowers that bloom in late spring to early summer. The plant has unique pinnately compound leaves with many small leaflets, giving it a fern-like appearance. Jacob's Ladder grows up to 2 feet tall and spreads about 1 foot wide, forming a dense clump of foliage. This perennial plant is an attractive addition to woodland gardens and is also suitable for containers.
