Populus deltoides (Cottonless Cottonwood)
The Cottonless Cottonwood (Populus deltoides) is a large deciduous tree native to North America. It is known for its tall, columnar shape and smooth gray bark. Unlike other cottonwood varieties, the Cottonless Cottonwood does not produce the fluffy white cotton-like seeds, making it a popular choice for landscape planting. It has triangular-shaped leaves that are shiny green in color, turning yellow in the fall.
