Psorothamnus spinosus, commonly known as the Smoke Tree or Smokethorn, is a shrub native to the desert regions of the southwestern United States. This deciduous plant is known for its unique smoky appearance, with branches covered in small, silver-gray leaves that give it a hazy appearance. In the spring, the shrub produces clusters of bright pink to purple flowers that resemble puffs of smoke. It typically reaches a height of 4-8 feet and has a width of 4-6 feet.
