Puya alpestris, commonly known as the Sapphire Tower Bromeliad, is a stunning plant native to the high-altitude regions of the Andean mountains in South America. It is characterized by its rosette of spiky, silver-green leaves that curve inwards, creating a cylindrical shape resembling a tower. The leaves have sharp spines along the edges for protection.
