Quercus austrina (Bluff Oak)

The Bluff Oak, scientifically known as Quercus austrina, is a large deciduous tree that can reach a height of 75 feet and a width of 50 feet. It has scaly gray bark and belongs to the red oak group. The leaves of the Bluff Oak are dark green and have a lobed shape. This tree thrives in zones 7a to 9b.
