Quercus emoryi (Emory Oak)

The Emory Oak, or Quercus emoryi, is a medium-sized evergreen tree native to the southwestern United States and northern Mexico. It has dark green leaves with toothed edges and a rough, grayish-brown bark. The tree produces acorns that provide an important food source for wildlife. Emory Oaks are well-adapted to arid conditions and can tolerate drought and heat. They typically grow to a height of 35-50 feet and have a spread of 20-35 feet.
