Quercus phellos, commonly known as Swamp Willow Oak, Peach Oak, or Pin Oak, is a deciduous tree native to the southeastern United States. This oak species is known for its attractive, glossy green leaves that turn golden yellow in the fall. It has a pyramidal shape when young, maturing to a more rounded crown as it ages. The bark of Quercus phellos is dark gray and develops shallow fissures with age.
