Quercus sinuata (Wavyleaf/Durand/Bastard/Bluff/Shin Oak)

Quercus sinuata, commonly known as Wavyleaf Oak, Durand Oak, Bastard Oak, Bluff Oak, or Shin Oak, is a species of oak tree native to the southwestern United States. It is a small to medium-sized deciduous tree with a broad, spreading crown. The leaves have wavy margins which give the tree its common name. It produces acorns that are an important food source for wildlife.
