Quercus tomentella (Island Live Oak or Channel Islands Oak)

Quercus tomentella, commonly known as Island Live Oak or Channel Islands Oak, is a medium-sized evergreen tree native to the Channel Islands of California. It has distinctive leathery, dark green leaves with a velvety, hairy texture on the underside. The bark is grayish-brown and deeply furrowed as the tree matures.
