Quercus vaccinifolia (Huckleberry Oak)

Quercus vaccinifolia, commonly known as Huckleberry Oak, is a prostrate shrub with small, leathery, evergreen leaves that resemble those of the Huckleberry plant. It is a member of the oak family, native to the western United States. Huckleberry Oak typically grows close to the ground, with a sprawling habit and a spread of branches that can reach up to 6 feet wide.
