Ranunculus montanus (Waterplantain/Montana Buttercup)

Ranunculus montanus, also known as Waterplantain or Montana Buttercup, is a perennial herbaceous plant native to Montana and surrounding areas. It typically grows up to 6 inches in height and produces beautiful yellow flowers. The plant prefers moist to wet habitats and can often be found along the edges of streams, lakes, and wet meadows.
