Rhamnus caroliniana-12' (Carolina Buckthorn/Indian Cherry)

Rhamnus caroliniana, commonly known as Carolina Buckthorn or Indian Cherry, is a deciduous shrub or small tree. It typically grows to a height of 12 feet. The plant has glossy, dark green leaves, which turn yellow in the fall. Clusters of small, greenish-yellow flowers bloom in the spring and give way to black fruit in the summer. It is native to the southeastern United States.
