Rubus argatus (Brazo Blackberry)

Rubus argatus, commonly known as Brazo Blackberry, is a deciduous shrub that belongs to the Rosaceae family. This vigorous plant produces clusters of large, juicy berries that are dark purple to black in color. The ample thorns on the stems give this plant its common name, Brazo, which means 'armed' in Spanish. Brazo Blackberry prefers fertile, well-draining soil and full sun exposure.
