Salicornia virginica (Pickleweed)

Salicornia virginica, commonly known as Pickleweed or Common Glasswort, is a succulent, salt-tolerant plant that grows in coastal salt marshes. It has fleshy, jointed stems and cylindrical branches that resemble pickles, hence the common name.
