Salix hookeriana (Hooker Willow)
The Hooker Willow is a deciduous tree that thrives in wetland habitats. It has long, slender branches covered with glossy green leaves that create an attractive weeping appearance. In early spring, the tree produces small yellow catkins that add an interesting contrast to the foliage. The Hooker Willow provides excellent erosion control and is often used in reforestation projects.
