Salix lucida (Shining Willow)

Salix lucida, also known as Shining Willow, is a deciduous shrub or small tree native to North America. It has glossy green leaves that can be up to 6 inches long and 1 inch wide. In the spring, it produces small, yellow flowers that are followed by small capsules filled with seeds. The Shining Willow is a fast-growing plant that can reach heights of 20 to 30 feet and widths of 15 to 20 feet.
