Sambucus pubens (Scarlet Elderberry)

Sambucus pubens, commonly known as Scarlet Elderberry, is a deciduous shrub native to North America. It is a multi-stemmed plant with beautiful clusters of small, creamy white flowers that mature into bright red berries. The berries are loved by birds and other wildlife. Scarlet Elderberry typically grows to a height of 12-25 feet with a spread of similar width.
