Santolina virens, commonly known as Green Santolina or Lavender Cotton, is a small evergreen shrub. It features compact, dense, and finely textured foliage that remains green throughout the year. The leaves are narrow and highly aromatic when crushed. In summer, it produces small, button-like yellow flowers. Green Santolina is drought-tolerant, deer-resistant, and well-suited for rock gardens or as a low hedge.
