Saxifraga mertensiana (Wood Saxifrage)

Saxifraga mertensiana, commonly known as Wood Saxifrage, is a perennial plant native to the western parts of North America. It has lobed, cordate leaves and produces clusters of white or pale pink flowers on tall stems. This plant prefers moist, shaded areas and is often found growing on forest floors or in damp meadows.
