Scirpus sylvaticus, commonly known as Bullrush grass, is a perennial grass that is native to wetland areas. It has dense clumps of dark green, cylindrical stems that grow upright and can reach a height of 3-4 feet. The stems are topped with small, brownish flower clusters that resemble cat tails. Bullrush grass is commonly found in marshes, swamps, and along the edges of ponds and streams.
