Sempervivum giuseppii (Hen and Chicks)

Sempervivum giuseppii, commonly known as Hen and Chicks, is a succulent perennial plant that belongs to the Crassulaceae family. It is characterized by its rosette-forming habit and thick, fleshy leaves. The leaves are green, grayish-green, or reddish in color, depending on the cultivar, and are covered in fine, downy hairs. Hen and Chicks plants produce offsets called 'chicks' that grow around the base of the main rosette, creating a dense cluster.
