Sempervivum soboliferum (Hen and Chicks)

Sempervivum soboliferum, also known as Hen and Chicks, is a succulent perennial plant that forms tight rosettes of fleshy leaves. The leaves are typically green with pointed tips, but can also have red or purple tones. The rosettes produce numerous offsets, or 'chicks', that cluster around the mother plant. This low-growing plant is commonly used in rock gardens, containers, or as a groundcover.
