Senna covesii, commonly known as Cassia, is a deciduous shrub native to the southwestern United States and northern Mexico. It features compound leaves with small, bright yellow flowers that bloom in clusters during the summer. This drought-tolerant plant attracts butterflies and bees to the garden. It can reach a height of 3-6 feet and a spread of 2-4 feet.
