Senna surattensis (Kolomona, Cassia, Scrambled Egg Tree)

Senna surattensis, commonly known as Kolomona or Scrambled Egg Tree, is a deciduous tree native to the tropical regions of Asia. It features bright yellow flowers that resemble scrambled eggs, hence its nickname. The tree can reach a height of up to 30 feet and has a spreading canopy. Its leaves are compound and its fruits are elongated, brown pods.
