Sisyrinchium (Blue-eyed Grasses)

Sisyrinchium, commonly known as Blue-eyed Grasses, is a group of perennial flowering plants that belong to the iris family. They are native to North and South America and are known for their small flowers that resemble those of true grasses. The flowers have six petals and come in shades of blue, purple, or white.
