Spartium junceum (Spanish Broom)

Spartium junceum, commonly known as Spanish Broom, is a deciduous shrub native to the Mediterranean region. It has long, slender, green stems and small, bright yellow flowers that bloom in late spring and summer. The plant has a pleasant fragrance and is a popular choice for ornamental gardens. It can reach a height of up to 6 feet (1.8 meters) with a spread of about 8 feet (2.4 meters).
