Sphaeralcea coccinea (Sweet n Low, Scarlet Globemallow)

Sphaeralcea coccinea, commonly known as Sweet n Low or Scarlet Globemallow, is a herbaceous perennial plant native to the western United States. It belongs to the mallow family (Malvaceae) and produces vibrant orange-red flowers from late spring to early summer. The plant has a clumping growth habit with gray-green leaves that are palmately lobed. It grows up to 2-3 feet tall and wide, making it an excellent choice for borders, rock gardens, or as a groundcover.
