Syzygium cumini (Jambolan Plum)

Syzygium cumini, commonly known as Jambolan Plum, is an evergreen tree native to the Indian subcontinent. It is widely cultivated for its edible fruit and also valued for its ornamental features. The tree grows up to 30 meters tall and has glossy, dark green leaves. The Jambolan Plum fruit is small and berry-like, turning from green to purple-black when ripe.
