Ulex europaeus (Common Gorse)
Ulex europaeus, commonly known as Common Gorse, is a spiny evergreen shrub belonging to the family Fabaceae. It is native to Western Europe and parts of North Africa. The plant is characterized by bright yellow flowers that bloom in dense clusters during spring and summer, emitting a coconut-like fragrance. The leaves are small, needle-like, and sharply pointed. Common Gorse can reach a height of 1-3 meters and has a spread of 1.5-2 meters.
