Viola glabella (Smooth Yellow/Stream Violet)

Viola glabella, commonly known as the Smooth Yellow or Stream Violet, is a perennial plant native to North America. It has beautiful yellow flowers that contrast nicely with its dark green, heart-shaped leaves. This low-growing groundcover spreads by underground runners and forms dense colonies. It prefers moist, well-drained soil and can tolerate full sun to partial shade.
