Viola obliqua (Marsh Blue Violet)

Viola obliqua, commonly known as the Marsh Blue Violet, is a herbaceous perennial native to North America. It features heart-shaped leaves with scalloped edges and showy blue-violet flowers with a yellow center. This plant prefers moist, marshy areas and can often be found near wetlands or along streams. It reaches a height of 6-8 inches and forms a dense spreading clump that can reach a width of 12-18 inches.
